The American Dental Association (ADA) is the nation’s largest and most prestigious organization of dental professionals. This nonprofit association, founded in 1859, represents more than 157,000 dental professionals, serving as an advocate for professionals, a source of dental health information, and a guide for consumers to choose the best dental products. In fact, the ADA Seal of Acceptance has become a universally recognized symbol of approval for oral health products from toothpastes to chewing gum by both dental professionals and consumers alike. The ADA’s annual dental meeting, aka “America’s Dental Meeting,” has over 35,000 persons in attendance annually. Other large prestigious regional dental meetings also experience very large groups of committed attendees such as the Greater New York Dental Meeting (with over 50,000 in attendance), the Chicago Dental Society Meeting (over 30K attendees), The Yankee Dental Congress by the Massachusetts Dental Society (over 25K), The California Dental Association Conference in Anaheim (over 28K), and the Hinman Dental Society Meetings with attendance in over 20,000.
